Hotel Endsleigh

Hotel Endsleigh is a Grade I historic house set in 100 acres of fairy tale woodland, follies and grottos created by Humphry Repton, the last great English landscape designer of the eighteenth century.

Rooms & Suites

The hotel's 21 generously proportioned rooms are individually designed, featuring hand-painted wallpapers, antique bathroom fittings and floral-upholstered furnishings. Rich in character and charm, each space offers a distinctive stay that blends timeless elegance with comfort.

Food & Drink

Inspired by the surrounding countryside, the cuisine is served in the original dining room, where wood panelling and historic crests create a sense of timeless character. Afternoon tea is a daily highlight, featuring cakes, scones and sandwiches, with the option to enjoy it at your table or as a picnic-style experience in a returnable rucksack. The estate also offers a spacious converted stable, ideal for private dinners of up to 80 guests.

Gardens

Overlooking the River Tamar and the Cornish countryside beyond, Endsleigh is surrounded by 108 acres of gardens, woodland and landscaped grounds designed by the celebrated landscape gardener Humphry Repton. One of his final commissions, the estate features formal gardens, picturesque follies, hidden grottos, tranquil streams and an impressive arboretum home to rare and champion trees, creating an enchanting setting for exploration and relaxation.

Licensed for civil ceremonies, the estate offers a variety of distinctive spaces, including the enchanting Shell House and historic Parterre.
