H2O Wellness

STRAF hotel&bar

STRAF’s secret wellbeing oasis is a place of ethereal calm beneath the historic palazzo. Architect and artist, Vincenzo De Cotiis has achieved a sensory play between reflections and materials. The zen space has a resistance pool with 29°C water, sauna, hammam and relaxing area.

As guests descend to Level -1, there’s an almost imperceptible shift. The city’s hum fades, footsteps soften, and with each step, heart rates slow. A sense of calm settles in. In the relaxation corner, ergonomic chairs invite guests to pause and settle into this hidden sanctuary. Phones are silenced, distractions left behind. A slow exhale, and the ritual begins.

First, the enveloping warmth of the steam room, followed by a refreshing dip in the pool. Finally, the dry, restorative heat of the sauna completes the journey - leaving body and mind gently realigned.

Contrasting materials create a calm balance: soft white quartz and pale plaster meet dark granite’s quiet depth. Subtle metallic accents, brass details and a sweeping steel arch, define each space, while light and reflections echo the presence of water. The result is an ethereal retreat that invites guests to pause, breathe, and fully immerse.
