A Sweet Return to Parisian Tradition
This autumn, Fauchon L’Hôtel Paris revives one of the Maison’s most celebrated traditions with the return of its legendary Five O’Clock Tea, from 25 September.
The story began in 1898, when FAUCHON opened its tea salon on Place de la Madeleine, bringing its own interpretation of the British afternoon tea tradition to Paris. Today, this historic ritual returns in a distinctly contemporary form at Fauchon L’Hôtel Paris.
At its centre is the Arbre à Bisou, a sculptural tree-shaped stand created especially for the occasion. Branch by branch, it reveals an elegant succession of savoury creations by Chef Baptiste Limouzin, with the support of FAUCHON Executive Chef Sébastien Monceaux, alongside sweet creations by Meilleur Ouvrier de France pastry chef Arnaud Larher.
Inspired in part by FAUCHON’s signature Bisou Bisou and other creations from the Maison, the experience evolves with the seasons, introducing new savoury and sweet delights throughout the year.
Served alongside a selection of FAUCHON signature teas, coffee or hot chocolate, Five O’Clock Tea offers a refined taste of Parisian tradition, overlooking Place de la Madeleine.
Five O’Clock Tea is served daily from 3pm to 6pm from 25 September, by reservation, from €65 per person.
